Here's a video of the boat on the water. I just installed new points, condensers, spark plug wires, spark plugs, carburetor kit, etc. Coils are good. Firing on both cylinders now, but having a fuel problem. It was flooding before the carb kit and wasn't firing properly before points and condensers. Now it runs GREAT as long as there is gas in the bowl. Just installed fuel pump and used a vaccuum line cap to plug one of the holes after removing check valve assembly. PO has installed 3/16" fuel line instead of 1/4". I know it's smaller, but is that enough to keep it from getting necessary volume? Fuel pump only pumps when it coughs. (video) It's a mikuni pump made for Briggs and Stratton, sold by Oregon. It has 3 ports: one says, "P", and the other two were arrows showing inlet and outlet. I hooked crankcase pressure line that used to pressure tank, to "P". (Pressure?) and fuel line from old pressure tank to inlet arrow, outlet arrow straight to carb. As you can see in the video, it only pumps when it misses or coughs. Can I use that old tank? I saw something said I had to drill something for the pressure line, but I just used the old one. Will that work? Help?!?!
