I was wondering if someone wiser than me about outobard engines could tell me how to get the flywheel off of my motor. I have got to the point where it looks like the flywheel should just pull of but it won't. I can't get a spark through my plug wires and I was going to replace the coils, points, and condensor but I hit a snag. A little help would be greatly appreciated.

Attach a puller to those three tapped holes in the flywheel (a common automotive harmonic damper puller will work), should pop right off.

Thanks for the tip, I'll give it a shot. Does it take a lot of pressure to get it off?

No, not a lot of pressure but a few light taps with a hammer (plastic "dead blow" - perferred) will help.
