Hello Everyone,
I am working on a 1959 Johnson 35 HP, I need some information on where to get powerhead gaskets, seals and I think I'll put a set of rings in. Before I paint the old motor I think I'll make sure everything is sound. Any ideas on where I can find these parts?

Thanks,
Deezelteck

Re: 1959 Johnson Parts

Do yourself a big favor and get a parts book for your particular model. You would be surprised at how many parts are still available from an Evinrude dealer. Trouble is, many of them won't give you the time of day with something that old. However you would also be surprised at their attitude change if you go in armed with part numbers and all they have to do is put it on their regular parts order and collect your money.

Some parts are available right here at iboats. Check it out.

Thanks for the website, I already have a seloc repair manual. I have ordered a parts manual from outboardbooks.com.

Thanks

If your local OMC dealer or Iboats doesn't carry the parts, try one of the sites listed on the Links page at www.aomci.org
