If it is the same powerhead as the Johnny QD-21 (1960 10HP) it is 2-3/8".

i'm looking to rebuild and the oldest iboats have rings for is 1974 and says 2.188 for 5hp to 15hp the piston in mine measures 2.245 so i was wandering what can i do thats like .060 over what iboats says is the std bore

Here's the brochure.. hard to read.. Maybe 2 1/8" ??

thanks guys i do need to know where to get a powerhead rebuild kit i can find them for 1974-1992 will this work on my 1960?

My guess is no as the 9.9 started in '74 so that's probably what it's referring to and the 9.9 and 10's are totally different. I just looked it up and the 9.9 is 2.188" bore and a 13.2 cubic in engine. The 10's are 16.6 cubic inch, 2 3/8" bore.

i didn't figure it was the same i'm just having trouble finding the parts to do the job. is there anywhere i can get the parts even if i have to by gasket set,bearing set and piston set seperatly i just can't seem to find anyone that has them

Did you check here at iboats? Or your local OMC dealer? My dealer has most parts after '57 or so. But you need to know the part #.
