Hi guys I have a 1960 18hp model number 15032 rude. The plastic piece in the throttle linkage that goes on the timing advance is broken. The little piece is just above the 90 degree gearset. Where on earth do I get one of these?

I think I know what you are talking about. I might have an extra laying around.

Are you describing the plasitc socket that snaps over a metal ball and the other end threads onto a linkage rod? They are available thru Evinrude dealers. Many carry them in stock.

Part number 304155, available from any Evinrude dealer. It's the round pin with flat key ends, right?

It is the piece that goes onto the end of the linkage shaft. It does have a keyway on it. The keyway is broken off.
