Does it stay in gear until you reach a certain speed/rpm, then buck out of gear with a bang? If so, you need a new clutch dog...not hard to do and not very expensive.

yes, it does. Then it begins to get harder to get it back in gear. It also won't go over half speed. I think the gear in neutroll has the gas restricked, like when you start the motor in neutral. Trying to get someone to look into this and hopefully fix it. I will mention the cluch dog gear.

thanks for the help.

I have had good luck other wise. Motor purs like a kitin in neutral at the dock. Easy starting since carb. overhaul. Choke works great also.
