Hello everyone. New at this boat stuff and bought a 35 hp sea king and need to find out how to change the impeller or if it has one. i fired it up and it started but did not pee any water out anywhere to show that it was circulating it through. need a little help and thanks in advance.

Yes, it has a inpeller and also a thermostat.also check for blockage in water inlet/the thernostat is located beneath a separate housing on top, rear face of cylinder head the water pump is mounted in the lower unit drive shaft housing [upper gearcase]

Make sure the water in the barrel reaches way up on the leg...needs to be that deep to prime the water pump. If it's pumping water, it will spit water out of the large hole/port on the back of the leg. It's a good idea to change the impeller on any new-to-you outboard...just good insurance.
