recently bought this v jon with trailer[new] and 8hp honda [long shaft] for 475. motor is 88 model-runs good [in tank]-the boat has minnie jacker-to raise it up-altho-the cav plate still a good 2 inches below bottom of boat--also have this corrosion running along entire lenghth of keel seam-previous owner fiberglassed the whole bottom of hull to the water line-several years ago--now seams to be coming apart in a few small places-does not seam to leak much now -but will definatley soon------- how to repair this delema???cheaply?-the corrosion is only visible on the inside-but causes problem in draining water from strut to strut-also what is fesability of putting a small sail on this hobo boat??the minnie jacker helps to give room for added rudder
