Hello,

This is my first outboard so maybe this is a dumb question. If you happened to see my fuel pump question you know all this, but bought this motor this week, cleaned the carb, new plugs, compression is 80-90 on top cylinder (can’t get my gauge on the bottom one), coils are good. New gas (24:1) and sea foam running through it.

After running the motor for 10 minutes and shutting down, it’s really oozing out a frothy oily substance out the bottom (attached video shows it best). It was also running out for a few min before I noticed so there was a decent amount. Is this normal? Also seems to be quite a bit of oil in the bucket after running for a while.
Maybe this is just 1961’s idea of green energy, but figured I’d ask the experts if I have anything to worry about.
Thank you!

Absolutely normal for a motor running in a tank. And Sea Foam makes it worse than ever.
The question is asked here very often.
