1961 Johnson Seahorse 75hp V4SL-13 starting trouble

Had the "Queen" out this weekend. She was running great, pulling the kids, etc. Died on idle, then engine would not start up until cooled down. It does this quite a bit when it dies. Pain in the rear when you're in the middle of the lake. Is this vapor lock or something else like fuel pump issue?. I have a really hard time getting my bulb filled with gas and staying hard. Ha ha. I know what some of you're thinking.. lol Seems to take forever. Have quite a bit of extra length I don't need on the fuel line as well. Thanks in advance for your comments and suggestions!

A hard resart hot is usually connected with an ignition componet overheating and causing a no start condidion. You might try checking the spark and see if you loose spark when warm and it comes back when it cools off.
