Believe me if she went for it, I'd make room some where some how...but alas, this current one is number two that I've tied up the yard with, and neither has seen the water while under my care :redface:

Top looks great Kenny. Ya know, the boat is a little beat up. I can see that, but I really don't think it's going to matter when it's all put back together. It will just have some character. It's still a cool old boat.

Thanks EZ, 'a little beat up" is not quite the phrase I would use :redface:, but as you say..."character" ....just disappointed in myself for not noticing just how beat the hull{or beat 'to' hull} was before I bought her...aw well, won't have to worry none about dinging her up now will I

5SpeedHemi said it HSF, "these boats aren't new". Yours is nearly 50 dude. I see a few dings here a there (mine too), it won't matter once you crank her up on the lake. You'll feel better I promise. 40 miles an hour will make it all better.

Battle scars...Baptised by fire and hardened in saltwater..She has seen more..done more..gone further than any and always..always brought her masters back to port..She has suffered many disgraces and abuses in her life, but steadfastly awaits to be put to the test again..she longs for it.



Now...Are You going to be the one that is ashamed of her?

Some auto parts stores carry it, or can order it for you...also google {or whatever search provider you like}... 'USC All Metal' for on line sites...

I posted a shot of it back a few{?} pages, showing the materials I used painting the hull...hope this helps.

Here's some advice we might all need a bit of (especially me).

Just get her together, don't worry about perfect, and ENJOY what she was meant to do...floating, fishing, and fun on the water.

Now, if I could just get motivated to go strip more paint...:redface:
