Well after sitting in the yard for the past couple weeks she is finally mine. Had to apply for a new 12 digit hull number. I did not want to get too involved with the project before I had all the paperwork in order. According to the title she is a 1961 StarCraft with no model listed. Fiberglass in construction. Came with a 1961 Mercury 45 HP and sitting on a tilt trailer. According to the PO it was started a few years ago but the key was since lost. He replaced the ignition switch with a "aftermarket" one and could not get it to start. Turns over just fine, just no spark at the plugs. Fingers crossed it is just the switch. I have already gotten a service manual off ebay.

BUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Before I can get started I need to get the working space in order. I have a old building in my back yard that use to serve as my workshop/catch alll space. I have emptied it out and must replace the roof on it. Also need to knock a wall out on one end to istall the over head door so I can get the boat in. It does have gas heat at the moment but plan on changing it out for a wood burning stove.

Check my signature for how to post pics. NOTE: Leave out Step #14 and it will work fine. DO NOT remove the attachments.

I'd love to have an outbuilding to work in. As it is, I have to button things up pretty much from November to April. Looks like you have a good space.

I too think it is a voyager. While I would like to put it back to original I am not a fan of that seating layout.
