Ok, so after my last post I went back to working on the motor a bit more. I decided to remove the head and see what I was dealing with. I also finished cleaning up the lower pan......prepping it for its new gasket.
The Pistons and Cylinders at least to my eyes look really good. What do you guys think? What should I do to clean them up......very fine sand paper really lightly?? I can still see cross hatching on the cylinder walls. They are VERY smooth.
