1962 Evinrude LARK 40 HP Flooding

This engine ran fine last year but now right after it starts a bunch of fuel comes out a hole at about one o'clock when looking at the carb intake and then it dies. Is this a float or some other issue ? Where is the best place on line to buy the parts ?

Dirt or crud in the float valve. Or worn float valve. Or stuck or sinking float. In all cases, the solution is a carb cleaning and put in a kit. Best on-line place to get a kit is right here at iboats. But if it needs a new float you might have to go elsewhere.
