I had no spark on # 2 . Took it apart and the coil was cracked, so i replaced it and the wire and points all that good stuff. Now it has very weak spark and sometimes no spark. Swapped coils to make sure i did not get a bad one, that coil worked great on # 1 so i know its not the coil. # 1 cylinder has great big thick blue spark. If i had hair i'd be pulling it out. Any ideas?

So only 1 coil was cracked? Usually they both are old and should be replaced. If the both were original they both should be replaced.

Check the wire to the vacuum cutoff. Disconnect it also to see if the spark comes back.

The original coil is the one that works good. I will check the cut off

Personally, unless it has been replaced, I would not trust an original coil, even with a good spark... I always replace in pairs... unless one has already been changed...
