1963 Glasspar with Johnson 75hp

Would like to know from the pros if this motor is worth having or any known major problems? Might be buying boat this weekend for cheap an hearing motor run tomorrow. If possible as always best will conduct a sea trial. First thing first though wanted the pro to chime in and inform me of anything about this motor. Again its 1963 Johnson 75hp.

Correction it is a 70HP not 75......

I don't think there is a '63 70hp Johnson? What is the model number?

Its okay guy wasn't willing to wait eight hours so I could rest after a night shift. We had a time appointment setup but he insisted on selling it within that time frame so I missed out. Bummer but then again maybe a reason why.

When he insisted on the time frame you're probably lucky you didn't get it. There's a lot more out there.
