Did you look at the label on the contact cleaner ?-----What is in that can ?-------I believe your testing is flawed and you might be jumping to conclusions about a leak that likely does not exist !

CRC CD Electronic Cleaner. Isohexane , diflouroethane, hexane and ethanol. " Product is extremely flammable ........."
FYI I still prefer to be wrong on this conclusion but as I see it I am correct. But then again I am not a trained outboard technician .
