Transom/Windsheild
I acquired this 1964 alumacraft maracaibo for $1 about 10 years ago and it has only hit the water once.... Now that I live on a lake I'm ready to get back to work on it. I have searched through the forums and online and not finding the information I'm looking for.

What would type of material would you recommend to rebuild the transom out of? It currently has wood that weak and I would like to replace it. Any suggestions would be helpful

Any suggestions on where I could find a complete curved "poly" windshield at a reasonable price for it?

Thanks!

Most of us are using quality exterior plywood sealed with either epoxy resin or marine spar varnish (epoxy must then be painted to protect from UV).
