iM TRYING TO FIND OUT WHY THIS CARBURATOR DRIPS FUEL WHEN THE FUEL LINE PRIME BALL IS PUMPED UP. IT COMES THRU THE CHOKE LEVER SIDE HOLE AND MY EXPERIENCE WOULD SAY THE FLOAT ADJUSTMENT IS OFF, BUT DOES NOT SEEM TO HAVE ONE OF THOSE? i'D APPRECIATE ANY INPUT.
THANKS
TIM

???---Why would you say there is no float in that carburetor ?--------Look for it / clean it / check the needle and seat.

thanks i do know yes there is a float but no adjustment screws to set the fuel level- like on a holly 4 barrel- it seems to have symptoms of the fuel overflowing like when a holly I used to have needed the float levels adjusted....fuel seems to be seeping out of one of the needles and would be coming up from the bowl of course? I ordered a new float but normally can feel fuel by shaking it around when removed if the float had started to fill due to a crack or just being old.

Is the float waterlogged. Outboard carbs usually need to bend the float tabs for adjustment.
