They have been NLA for years just go to a auto parts store and buy 2 hose barbs with the right size thread and hose size for the hose ends and a piece of hose to reach in between.

don't the brass fittings have to be pressed on the hose with a special tool? And what store would you reccomend, because autozone and oreily's has no boat fittings?

NAPA, but don't mention boat fittings to the nincompoops at autozone take you fuel line off the engine and take it into any autoparts store and ask them for the parts to make one up to replace what you have all auto parts stores stock hose barbs and bulk hose.

Ok thanks laddies. How would I go about assemnling the hose though? The guy I talked to said the fittings needed to be pressed on. Where would I go to do that?

Re: 1964 merc 650 fuel help

I just made mine. I used these hose fittings here. http://www.fastfittings.com/hose-barb I actually bought mine at the local hardware store. Then get the proper size fuel line and some good hose clamps. No crimping necessary. I went to 4 different autoparts stores and they were worthless! Nobody there would even bother helping me because the fittings look so weird. I ended up going to ace and they got the parts we needed. They are a little cheaper on that website but you have to wait to get them;)

one more thing. If you get the swivel connectors it will be easier to install and remove later. They are more expensive, but I wish I would have got them.
