hey,<br /> on my 64 merc 50hp there looks to be a tube for the tell tale put nothing comes out the motor runs cold and great is sumthin stuck up in the tube??

Probably. Bugs like to build nests there, or it could be something the water pump sucked in. Poke it with a wire or blow into it with compressed air. Sometimes you have to take the hose off to get it out and keep it from reclogging.
