Attached is a photo (best i could get) of an arm under the fly wheel that is moved by the throttle.

problem is... the clip at the end of the arm broke off and i found it at the bottom of the engine housing while out on the water... this made the engine run very very bogged down and after i figured out how to attach it back and adjusting the brass attachment the engine never reached top speed again....

i have gotten a new clip and put the arm back on but the problem is i don't know where to place the brass bracket that then pushes another arm to the engine.

any help on this? how to i adjust the metal piece so the engine runs at full capacity.

thanks for your help on this...

Engine off try to advance to full throttle(in gear) look at the carb to see if its full open,if not move brass clamp to match legenth.
