1964 Starcraft Starchief Restoration help

I have purchased a 1964 starchief and have decided to do as much of a restoration as I am capable of. Since beginging I have come across a few needed parts including transom top and end caps, and both windshields. My top shield is complete but faded and scratched badly while the cabin windshield is cracked, cut, and even the windshield frame trip has been cut and modified so that seems to be my biggest issue. If anyone know where I can purchase a windshield whether off another boat or custom made that would be great. I also need the arms for the top(cover) because they have split. I apologize if my terminology is not correct this is my first boat. I have an issue with buying junk in the middle of a field that nobody wants and fixing it up. I just finished a 1961 scotty camper and now I want to do this boat but the windshield could be a huge issue and hopefully someone here can help me out.

Welcome aboard!! The transom caps and the windshields are very difficult to come across, but down in the Starcraft forum there's a thread of free parts

I can't find the starcraft forum, I looked prior to posting in restoration because I was going to post in a starcraft forum. I suck with computers

Swing by a glass installing company with one of the windshields and see if they can replace the glass. I'm not sure what the frame is like on the chief but they'd be able to tell you whether they could do it or not.

In my area I have contacted multiple windshield companies and even ones that advertise custom work but none have been able to do it. I found another company online that I sent an email to I believe sunday but haven't heard any word back yet so I assume they can't and just won't answer. That seems to be the norm with companies. I'll figure something out, i'm not going to give up that easy.

We had same issue with our boat back in 1970s insurance even paid a portion but one came in from Starcraft damaged and sent back and none available so we sealed it with silicone and plastic screws and used the boat for the next 13 years we had the top windshield too that one held the canopy and held up better
