the plug wires are the original wires (with the metal core)

J4C plugs are still around. i have never heard of the L77J4C. the plugs just say J4C on them.

Lots of motors do use the L77J4C sparkplug.--Not the V-4 60 HP as I believe the L makes it a longer reach plug.
