Three days ago I bought this motor. When I arrived, the motor was cold and we put it into a test tank and it started on the fifth pull. It sounded great and strong. After it had ran a while and gotten good and warm. I shut it down and restarted it. Took only one pull. I was satisfied and I purchased the motor.

When I got it home, it would not start no matter what. I decided the only thing different from the test run was the gas tank and fuel line, primer and filter. So I bought brand these all brand new. Still can't start it. I can't figure out how it ran nicely in his tank but suddenly will not. I appreciate any suggestions.

do you have ignition.. ??? test at the plugs...try a squirt of gas in the cyl to see if you can wake it up

if ok you likely need inspect and/or overall the carb anyway ( choke wire still attached ?)

if you lost ignition....you will have to pull the flywheel and check the ignition components

may as well do the impeller to while you have it on the bench

I would bet on a dirty plugged carb
