hi im new here so i hope this is in the right part of the forum. with a little begging to my wife i purchaced a boat motor and trailer last week for $100.
i really wanted a boat i could restore and when i saw it in person i thought it to be in pretty good shape for the year although sun beaten and interior junk the boat , motor and trailer are restorable. im used to doing work on cars and such but boats im new to. im looking for maybe original style decals and cleats, buttons, dash equiptment and such. do they make these for restoration? also am i better off getting the crome stuff replated or new. i would like to make the boat as close to original as possible. thank you in advanced .

Go to the boat manufacturer's section of main menu, near the middle blue background white text, find MFG & click. Lots of old MFG's being & that have been restored to original condition. Also try completed restoration section.

Re: 1965 mfg niagara

I recently completed rebuilding the transom in my 1967 14' Niagra. First time I had ever did fiberglass and work on a boat for that matter. It is a very nice boat. I bought mine in 2010. Of course put $$ into the motor, transom, and a couple other things. Love this boat a lot, it works well in the Sandusky Bay off of Lake Erie.
