think J4 is the oem plug (J4J, now J4C). I have a supply of both 4s and 6s, and think I would use the one that seems to run best for you.

Funny thing about this. Talk about not reading the directions. Right on the front plate where the choke and low speed adjusting knob is where it tells what mix of oil to use etc. it also list what plugs to use It says Champion J4J, AC M42K or Autolite A21X. ha ha If it had been a snake it would have bitten me.

One last test run before I put it away. It takes 3 cranks to start it cold and 1 crank after it's warmed up. I think I can live with that.

I believe it can pull a pair of skiers behind it now. :lol:
