well,i want to know things the right way,,youre one of the guys that helped me through my delimna,ive been learning by you and a few other guys on here,i dont feel you are pickin on me,i value your opinion,this is my fav site,my wife says its my old mans facebook,,,but i did wonder why there was a drive pin and a shear pin,,,how you put it cleared it up

Thank you for providing that prop picture, that all makes sense now. I am going to put the boat in the river tonight and see if she has spun or not. That picture is great, I could not picture any rubber in there but now I see there is quiet large amount of it, and how the prop could be spinning.

That also makes good sense regarding the thrust washer too.

I'll let you know how it goes after the in-water test tonight.

Thats it! - yes my marks have moved on the hub to the rest of the propeller.

Spun prop it is
thank you all so much, now I am off to suss out how to repair / replace it :)

Most Johnnyrude dealers can repair a spun hub or have someone who can repair it. Usually about $40-50.
