I have 1967 Viking 6 hp no.64801 made for Eatons of Canada by Chrysler. Gear case is taking on water. I have searched all over and can not find a place to get the seals I need. Can anyone steer me in the right direction? thanx

Try Franz Marine, he may have seals/seal kit if they are available.

No OEM, auto or marine, has ever made their seals. In rare case some seals may be proprietary, but most are available through Motion Industries or other seal distributors as standard seals. Seals are sold by shaft outside diameter (OD), the bore diameter - seal outside diameter and thickness/height. Measure all of these dimensions and do a web search. If you get an odd size, convert it to mm. If you get close within .002 - 003", try the seal. They are forgiving and inexpensive.

If the seal hasn't been destroyed??
You can possibly use it again??
Put shims under it, or turning it upside down can sometimes work??
Not the best way but??

Also take it to a Grainger store.
They might have something you can use??
