1967 60hp johnson lync and sync help

Hello I am trying to get my distributer in sync with my carb linkage....I'm am trying to adjust it with the motor running and it is hard to tell what position it is running best at....does anyone know the procedure for setting the lync and sync for this motor?......Thank You for any help

Try a search with the red search function at the top of the page. If not you can probably get a shop manual at your local library that will have the procedure in it.

Almost 20 years later, that post isn't there anymore. I've got the same question, the procedures in my shop manual is... unclear
