1967 80HP Evinrude Float/Choke settings

I just received the rebuild kit for the carb, however the maint. manual has yet to arrive. I'm looking for the float setting and initial choke setting for my 1967 80 hp Evinrude (electric shift). Any prelim/problem area info would be greatly appreciated.

with carb upper body inverted the float should be parallel with the gasket flange. As for the choke, if you haven't taken it a part yet, scribe a mark on the housing and the cover. If you have already taken it apart, adjust the tension so the choke is just fully closed at 75 degrees F. That should be pretty close.
