Im looking for what i think is a timing lobe. It's the part the allows the points to open and close like a cam shaft. I don't know where to find one, if some knows where to get one or the parts number it would be greatly appreciated. My woodrouf key broke that hold the flywheel and i got to looking and the "timing lobe"??? is cracked.

Marc,
It's called a points cam. You can get one at laingsoutboards.com. They ship fast. Get a fllywheel key, also, as the hardware store ones will not work. Torque to 45 ft-lbs. ----imperative.
