1967 merc 650 overhaul questions

Hello all. I`m new to posting and I was looking for a little help. I just purchase a 1967 mercury 650 s/n 2206933. it has good compression and spark although one of the spark plug wires has pulled out of the cap. I have separated the power-head from the mid section and disassembling the mid now. First I was wondering does anyone have a suggestion on where to find a repair/service manual specific for this motor. I`ve searched the internet and found the clymer and seloc type manual. But I`m looking for a more detailed manual. The other type I have seen are ex: 1965-1985 5hp to 115hp. which seem very broad. I am also looking for a period correct throttle control box as well as a external wiring harness. The power-head wiring is completely shot but I have seen them for $130 and up on the internet. Any other places I should look ? I should tell you I have a 15`1956 Peterborough Jupiter I rebuilt that I`m going to put this motor on. Going forward I`m sure I`ll have more questions to come.Thank you for your help.

I have a .pdf of the Mercury 650 service manual on one of my computers, it is the factory manual, I think it covers that engine, but might be wrong on that as my engine is a 1964, if I can find it, I can share..

ETA: found it, does not look like it will work for a 1967, there were changes and my manual covers up to a 1965 based on what I read.

Hi thank you very much for getting back to me, I unfortunately had some family issues and dropped my project for a while. With some help of a good friend I was able to get the motor back together and just tried out on the lake yesterday. it runs good except it runs rough just after idle but then smooths out. Also I have questions on motor height. but I will start a new thread with it . thank you again for your help
