Just finished this one last week.
It was in really rice shape to begin with, I simply spruced it up a bit.
New transom wood and new paint.

Nice job! Now if the Islander could be done for the same time and cost. :D

Oh I'd be a happy man if the Islander only costs 10x as much :)

I think I'm on my 4th or 5th childhood, and adding 2 grandson's (1 month apart) was icing on the cake...LOL!
They are still young, but they'll be old enough to take out in the little boat this summer. I'll give it to them when they are old enough.
Shoot, I got so excited when we first found out that they were boys that I ordered their first Ruger single actions!
Got them a matched pair of Birdshead .22 convertibles (consecutive serial numbers 2 of 450 made) that just happened to be
test fired at the Ruger factory on my 51st birthday!

Nice little 12ft'r. Interesting anchor station on the bow. 2nd slightly unusual, vintage 1 I've seen posted here.

Get the Islander done slowly & let the still a bit young deck hands help ya finish it. I think that may be Jas' Islander plan too. :watermelon:

Cool little boat; very nice restoration!

That is one sweet hanger you're working in!

The "hanger" is supposed to be where my bread and butter comes from, but it has been the workshop for many a "project" to satisfy my need to tinker and make old things look new. I'd go insane if it wasn't available to feed my need :).
