My pleasure. That fiberglassics.com site is terrific. There are brochures from manufacturers of all sorts of older boats, and it's a great place to look up stuff like this.

Good boating!

Re: 1967 StarCraft Holiday Repower

I'm new to the board so sorry if this is not the right place for this question but the 1967 18' Holiday caught my eye. My father who is 86 years old gave me a 1967 aluminum Holiday with a mercruiser. It is all original and has not been used much at all over the years. You would never think it is a 67 from its condition. It sits on a tiny tandem trailer with new tires and the boat has a new cover. I really am not a boat person and I am looking to sell it. What I have no clue to is what the boat may be worth. He also has all the original paper work and all service records for the boat and the trailer. Any ideas on a value? Thanks for any help and sorry again if this is not a proper post. It looks dang near just like this.http://www.fiberglassics.com/starcraft/starcraftb67015.jpg

The best guide to the value of your boat is probably ebay, frankly. Searching completed auctions should get you in the right range. However, boat values vary widely around the country, so it's hard to say exactly.

The trouble is that you'll never know what the value of your boat is unless to sell it to someone, and then you don't have it any more. :D

Tug,

What did you do to beef your transom up? I would like to do the same to handle a bit more power in the future.

Hey Bob, I sent you a PM, but I'll go ahead and say it here, too. I have a 67 Holiday 18' with a 110 horsepower merc in it and am getting ready to do a complete restoration back to the original. If you still have yours, I'd love to talk to you about it.

Re: 1967 StarCraft Holiday Repower

Hi,

I'm also doing the same thing - repowering a 67 Holiday 18'. It has a '69 115hp Johnson on it right now, that we have been chasing problems with, so I want to put a new four stroke 90 hp or 115hp. The boat itself was stored for 20 years, and needs no work, though the motor appears to be problematic. How did your repower work out?

Just an fyi.....You just replied to a 6 year old thread (which is frowned upon here).

Go ahead and start a thread with your question...and you'll get the help that you need.
