16' exactly from nose to tail & 74" between gunwales

Sounds like the same hull, how did you manage to flip it upside down like that?
How much did the hull weigh? Mine seems pretty heavy, I have the interior out, floor is out and the windshield off but it's far too heavy to try to lift. I can just about shift it's weight on the trailer.
Mine came with a custom hardwood dash that a previous owner had custom made, they made it a bit lower than the original dash so I have all sort of room for gauges or accessories.

I may go back to the original steering wheel though on mine, the last owner put in a new helm, teleflex cable and vinyl steering wheel.

It feels ok but don't look right in that boat. Besides, I like the bright blue Starcraft wheel that belongs in it. Luckily it was still in the boat when I got it.

I tossed the original seats, I'll be using two pedestal seats and a maybe carry a pair of folding deck chairs for added seating, the tank will get put up front since there's already a fuel fill on the deck, and the area under the splash well will get a full floor, my floor ends before the very rear by about a foot on each side now. A better bilge pump bracket is also in order. I also plan to make a custom but more utility minded pair of side try covers. The foam padded stuff isn't going back in.

Re: 1968 Starcraft 16' Jupiter Restoration Project

Just did a re measure of mine, my 1963 measures 6'-5 3/8" bow tip to transom and my gunwales are 69" at the widest point with a full 20" transom.
Now that I remeasured it, the 69" width is what didn't match any models in the 16' range in 1962 to 64. Yours is still the closest in appearance overall to mine so far. If I remember right all of the 63 models with a 69" width under 18' were listed as having a 15" transom.

I pretty much gave up on finding the exact model, the title says Holiday and the serial number matches and even denotes a 1963. But I don't think there was a Holiday in the lineup yet in 1963?

A second pair of hands is all it took to flip the boat over.I can lift the bow off the trailer with one hand.My son & I can lift it off the trailer & carry it.....very light!!!!Not sure exactly what the weight is ....but max. H.P. rating is 80 H.P.I have a 65 H.P. pushing it & I can get her up to 30 m.p.h. with just me in it.Question?????Brass or plastic splashwell drain tubes?I don't wnt to have to buy a flaring tool for just a one time use....I thought I read a post some time ago about flaring tube with ball peen hammers
