After some time we are getting things back together , first off thanks to all that gave excelant advise on the restore , things I have learned is . on the transom I would defenatly use the epoxu for the coating , I would not use it again got laminating . painying went Awesome as you can see in the Pics , Puting it back together and am upgrading the motor from the 1968 Evinrude to a 1988 merc 90 hp. enjoy the pics

Looking good man, seeing all you guy's working on your boats is getting me motivated again..sadly my boat has been sitting in the barn for a couple of years waiting for me to get back to work. Keep it up!

I am almost done, and am very happy and pleased the way it tirned out ,I am going to have some left overs , 1 factory winshield , 85 hp Evinrude outboard and controls Runs well and a few other things, But what a fon experence !!!! I will do it again ......

Hi everyone :
Today is June 22 2012 , and finally we have the restore complete , for those of you who have been following along I have updated photos for your enjoyment . I must say this has been one of the funnest projects ever ! my boys did such a great job that , yesterday when we put the motor on they were offered a job restoring boats at M&M products in Pocatello Id , They BUILD Micky Craft Boats , and said this is one of the finest restores he has seen in a long time , so we now are going to enjoy ,,A great big thanks for all of you who had input and help along the way , we couldent have done it without your input, until the next project Thanks all!!!!

Admiral , I dont know why but it seems that all the boats from that time frame weree done in an off colored white , or a cream color , but I am with you white on white is NICE , Took my 2 boys and I just over a month to do a complete restore .
