my 55horse johnson starts and runs great.it got hot on me one day while in motion.i shut it off in time.back on the trailer i checked the lower end fluid,it was all foamed up and white.i also blew a exhaust manifold gasket,so i replaced the gasket and the fluid.the motor starts and runs great like always but now i have no forward or reverse.is the lower unit shot or is it something simple like a celenoid,burnt wire,or what.when i spin the prop with my hand the flywheel and powerhead are turning freely.this is a hydro elecric drive.<br /><br /> looking for answers.
