1969 Evenrude 6 hp (6202M)

I just bought this engine. Runs good but needs plugs.
My question is: I need Champion J4J plugs. Can't get the exact, However, I can get Champion J5J. The guy said it would burn hotter. Is that cool or bad? I can get the J4J on line but they are 9 bucks but $8.00 shipping ! Thst hwy robbery. 2 spark plug cost that much to ship?
And advice would be appreciated

J4J were one of the originally recommended plugs. J5J is a slightly hotter plug. I doubt if you will notice the difference.
J4C are the more modern replacement for J4J.
J6C are the even more recent recommendation for that engine. They will be slightly hotter than a grade 5 plug.

If you live where NGK plugs are more common/ available you could use B7S or B8S. The former being the hotter of the two (NGK heat ratings run the opposite way to Champion heat ratings)

A J4C gets RID of heat quicker than a J6C plug.----Nothing burns any hotter with a J6C or J8C inside the cylinder.
