1969 hydroelectric shift 55 hp does it have a tell tail, I have heard yes and I have heard no, don't wanna replace water pump if I don't have too.

It did not come with a tell tale like newer motors !!!!------You must install a new impeller too.------Or test the overheat warning light.----Better yet is to install an overheat buzzer!
