Does anyone have experience working with early 70's Mercury outboards? I have a few questions regarding the carb and starter motor. I haven't had any time to work on the boat hull much; hopefully I can get something done next week. I have abandoned using paint stripper for the original hull paint. The stuff is just too strong, so I will have to put the wirebrush to it and but an orbital sander to smooth out the aluminum prior to repainting.
