My 1970 Merc 40, single cylinder, 4HP motor is in great shape, except my stator is bad. Motor serial number is 2775667, stator is stamped 336 3962. New one are almost $200 (and more). Anybody have a good used one, or anybody interested in a great motor without a stator?
