The engine runs good on the hose in neutral, forward and reverse however when I put the boat in the river the idle works good but as soon as I put it in forward or reverse and try to throttle it , it dies...

I pulled the choke out slightly manually and I had the boat going forward for awhile but as soon as I tried to increase the throttle it died..

I changed the plugs today ..... that didn't help

I let it run in idle and disconected each plug to see if it made a diffence in performance and they each did... Meaning they were firing alright..I think..?

Any ideas........ thanks.....

I AM STUCK IN CAPS

OK YOUR MOTOR SOUNDS FINE AND THE PLUGS ARE FIRERING :) ~~!! I THINK IT IS A CARB PROBLEM, HERES WHY:
IN AN AREA FROM IDLE TO A LITTLE ABOVE IDLE THE BUTTERFLY VALVE IN THE CARB(S)DOES NOT MOVE, GAS IS JUST PUT IN, WHEN YOU SPEED UP THE BUTTERFLY VALVE WILL START TO MOVE, THIS SUDDEN CHANGE MAY JUMP THE MOTOR INTO SHOCK AND FLOOD THE SPARK PLUGS WITH GAS? JUST A THOUGHT!
