1970 60hp evinrude points system conversion to timerbase & sensor assembly .

my conversion will fit onto a 1970 60hp ,provideing you transfer the wireing harness that bolts to the side of the motor, the flywheel, coil ,timerbase& sensors over to the 60hp ,the starter motor holes,need to be lowered, by 10mm, & the aluminuim bracket where the TDC mark is on on the carburator side just needs a little fileing to accomodate the starter gear , as it comes up to engage with the flywheel as there is a differance in the cranksharft height & the timeing needs to be reset to the model youve taken the spares from & put a new TDC mark on the flywheel, as the TDC marks will not line up, , from the following models:

yea , a little paitcence, will be needed , i had to go & sell my mobile phone, to get a little cash ,as i picked this motor up from the scrap heap, busy modifying a few things , the timer base has been fitted , the next step is to convert it from electro shift to manual, & change the leg from short sharft to long sharft, need to convert the exhust system as well also change the water system to a pee hole type, then painting after ,then time for photos ,
