I'm hoping someone can tell me where to get three new bolts for my fuel pump. I broke the head off of one of them:redface:, and want to replace all three to be sure another one doesn't break........And is there a torque spefication for these bolts so I don't break one again ............
..
The bolt I broke can be removed with vice grips ......:D(that was close to sucking):D
Here's a pic of the pump...............

Most any decent hardware stores should have something. Just take one of the old ones with you, and find a nut the easily fits the origional bolt to make sure the threads of the new aquisitions are a match. I have a bunch of parts motors where I get any I may need. You could get stainless or grade eight, but you should never torque aluminum very much anyway. I wouldn't bother replacing the other bolts if they are not corroded, (the real potential problem you face IMHO). You just may want to get a tap n' die set to clean up the others that aren't stuck in the block. JR
