I recently purchased a 1970 85 hp Evinrude with a jet foot. The Seloc manual I purchased recommends replacing the water pump impeller yearly. After looking at the manual it appears the water pump is part of the lower unit which I think is removed when the jet foot is installed. Can somebody help with this or am I reading it wrong in the manual. I have not torn into it yet so upon doing so maybe it will be self explainitory. Also is there a product that can be run in the gas to decarb. the exhaust or does it have to be done by hand?
