1970 Johnson 65 hp o/b. Boat goes--sometimes.

Do you mean upon acceleration or running at high speed? Does it do it when either hot or cold? Why were the carbs rebuilt? Because of this problem or did the motor sit for some time or was it something else?

check you compression , and it could be fuel pump, or coils, or power pack.

last year is not today, things change, check the compression , make sure the innards are good before you spend $.
