1970 omc stringer/morse steer replacement

I need advice,. Im looking to replace the old through the transom morse steering on my 1970 omc/buick twin. The only replacement I can find is a rack system from go to marine,and its costly.I would like to talk with someone who has dealt with this sincerly tim24

You will have to upgrade to the rack system. Your old system is obsolete.

The kit that go2 has is for a single engine has any one out there done this with a twin?
