1970 silverline 18' 300.00?

I was on my way home just now and saw a boat sitting for sale so i stoped to take a look. Says 500.00 or best so i asked if he would take 300.oo and not a problem. I snaped a few pictures, the seats are gone and the lower unit needs rebuild (has play, moves in and out). The trailer has new rubber rollers and is in good shape. Everything seems to be there just needs put back together. I can't get a good look at the stringers under the floor but the floor is solid and looks newer. Im selling my 97 saturn soon (its a extra car) I would like to have a 4+ seater boat. It has a inline 6 in it and i think the guy said 190 hp that ran 2 years ago. Good project or junk? well it is a mercruiser, that's good. this will give you an idea of what the guts to a silverline look like. the trailer and motor parts are worth $300. if you don't restore it.

I was thinking the same thing, trailer and other parts would be worth 300. I have a 40/60' poll barn thats empty to store it in till I get around to starting it and seeing if its worth fixing. Iv'e seen that one before TD it looks basically the same but I/O. I will have to check and see if the motor will turn and how much would the parts for the outdrive run and are the available? the prop shaft moves in and out, the guy pointed that out to me.
