1970's fiberglass boat, late 90's 50 hp outboard, need help with steering

My boat currently has cable pulley steering and im looking at purchasing a newer 50 hp for my boat. My only problem is the steering, what are my options to upgrading my steering?

Current owner of motor says "remote steering'

you will need a current cable steering system, teleflex is good.
